During a 3-month contract with PBS KIDS, I helped them standardize their YouTube banners by developing nearly 100 evergreen (reusable) branded banners. These YouTube banners utilized prior art for various PBS KIDS TV shows and helped them create continuity by following their recently updated brand standards. This is just a snippet of all the art that was produced.

This client is a General Counsel who works in the financial industry. She needed some assistance co-branding herself with her LLC and bringing a more sophisticated layer to the already monochromatic branding she owned while matching her bubbly personality and her years of experience to position herself as a fractional General Counsel. To kick off the visual portion of the project, we started with a mood board (last image) based on the adjectives exercise we completed over Zoom. The adjectives exercise was to help focus Pia on what she envisioned for the future of lawesomeGC. From the adjectives and mood board then came various mock-ups of the Networking Brief and One-pager until we landed on a look and feel that resonated.

When the client came to me they were in the early stages of building out their brand story.

S depicts the issue that the client was tackling: big corporations watching numbers, distracted by statistics over listening to customers’ needs.

T is the #MomentOfTruth when corporations are confronted with the reality that there is a disconnect between what the client wants versus what the data is telling them.

O you can almost see all sides of the iceberg. The iceberg represents the customer's story — there is more to their story than the surface level.

R is a data center where we see team members beginning to communicate with customers and combine quantitative and qualitative data.

Y is on the other side of the bridge where previously there was a gap in understanding the customer story. The client’s goal is to bridge the gap in data and real feedback from customers calling in or leaving reviews. Here we also see conversations in the conference room about the findings from the call center recordings being sent over from the data center on R. We’re also seeing a lot more human connection (two people handshaking & positive reviews).

Around the STORY is The Eddy EffectTM. The Eddy EffectTM is when a customer’s ideal experience is disrupted with a frustrating loop of obstacles (or Eddies) that cause them to feel “stuck” in a problem. Sadly, up to one-third of all customers experience this phenomenon every day. Eddies create a tremendous amount of frustration for customers who are trying to navigate through issues on their own and waste company resources on problems that never should have occurred.

During my time at Array Architects, I was selected to create artwork for the main lobby, and spiritual room in the Inspira Hospital located in Mullica Hill, New Jersey.

The board members at Inspira were looking for calming pieces, using their blue brand color, that would become the central focus of the lobby, and spiritual room.

The interior designers on the project led the creative process and chose the display materials i.e. glass and print.

Over a year’s worth of work went into these pieces, from initial conception to the final piece.

Mascots are an important aspect of some brands; here are a few famous ones: Mickey Mouse, Tony the Tiger, Geico Gecko etc.

They emulate the voice of the brand as well as add empathy to the brand. Insurance is obscure, but Sven works to smooth out some feathers during the buying process. He has become an active part of the travel insurance brand by guiding users/buyers through the e-commerce site.

I devised a list of success drivers to consider when creating Sven: what his role in the education of product(s) and/or service(s) would be, how he communicates about product(s) and/or service(s) and if he can offer some customer service.

Sven is an amiable, intelligent puffin with a nordic background who enjoys coffee and cakes after a long flight. He uses meditation to start his days as well as reads the daily news. He made his first debut on Seven Corners website in May 2019 and became a registered trademark of Seven Corners in June 2020.

I designed these sketchbooks for the in-house talent recruiter to give out at college career fairs. These were printed by the thousand and were also given to potential clients as a memento after a project interview. The t-shirts were designed for the company's internal apparel catalog.

Stay Rad festival is a tribute to the best decade ever...Okay that might be bias–I'm a 90s child. The concept for an all-things-90s-related festival spurred from the recent emergence of this design language back into the market. 

The logo is hand-brush type meant to emulate the grunge, dirty design from the late 80s and 90s. Inspiration was drawn from the tv station, Nickelodeon, as well as from the flashy and highly patterned fashion from this decade. 

Revince means ‘to overcome.’ This app plus wearable system provides prompted breathing exercises that act as a grounding device for when a woman is having an anxiety episode. This app also helps track daily mental health by providing a visual gauge that indicates heart rate levels which can then indicate if there is a need to seek treatment from a physician. The goal of these two products is to help minimize the stigma associated with seeking help for mental disorders.
